3. Take 10-15 cloves of garlic and mince them well. Take 2 teaspoon of mineral oil, 500 ml of water and 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap. Place the minced garlic in the mineral oil for around 24 hours. Now strain the oil and remove the garlic, mix the oil with water and liquid soap. Mix it really well and spray on your plants. 4. This homemade spray will help protect your plants from mildew and black spot. Take 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 litre of water, 1 teaspoon of soap flakes. Mix the baking soda with the water; now add the soap flakes as they will help the mixture cling to the leaves better. Remove the leaves that are already affected, and then spray the rest of the plant well, this will prevent the bugs from coming back.



5. You can also make a handy pest trap to capture the flying pests like gnats etc. Take 1 or 2 tablespoon of non petroleum jelly. Take a plastic card or cardboard card and some water proof bright yellow paint. Paint the card with the yellow paint on both the sides. When the paint dries, apply the non petroleum jelly liberally over the card over both the sides. Now place the card like a canopy over the plant. Try it and you’ll be surprised with results.
